Snapbreak Games has opened its pre-registration on Android and plans to launch it on April 9th. So, you’ll soon get to play as a down-on-his-luck duck with a talent for sniffing out trouble.
Duck Detective: The Secret Salami is about Eugene McQuacklin, a duck investigator. In this game, he tracks down suspects and unravels the mystery of the century. It’s a cosy adventure with quirky humour and some clever puzzles.
So, the story kicks off with Eugene, the dramatic bird detective, tasked with uncovering the whereabouts of a missing salami. You’ll be interrogating shady suspects, poking around crime scenes and piecing together clues.
Packed with layers of comedic charm, Duck Detective: The Secret Salami makes you laugh out loud, mostly because of its absurd situations and Eugene’s antics. He has a knack for judging people just by looking at them.
Seriously, Eugene stares at suspects so hard that they just spill their secrets. You even get to throw bread at suspects! The game is lighthearted, weird and downright goofy. It’s fully voice-acted which brings every absurd conversation to life.
Happy Broccoli Games, the indie studio behind the game, is based in Berlin. They have made Kraken Academy, which also received quite positive reviews. Apparently, they’re also cooking up more for the Duck Detective series.
