Dragon Age: The Veilguard - How To Rescue The Viper
The Viper is an important leader of the Shadow Dragons faction in , operating behind the scenes in the city of Minrathous. After the escape of the Elven gods into the world, you are asked to rescue this figure after they get captured by an enemy organization. The quest tied to this task offers great rewards, including a greater bond with the Shadow Dragons themselves.
Once the Elven gods started wreaking havoc in the world, a group called the Venatori kidnapped the Viper during the chaos. These enemies have always been a threat in Minrathous, but the Shadow Dragons have held them back as they've protected common people. With the Viper gone, the streets of Minrathous' Dock Town have been overrun with Venatori, creating a dangerous situation for a daring rescue.
Other side quests in take place in Dock Town, a subsection of Minrathous. Many important missions take place in this specific location, so you may already been familiar with its layout while trying to save the Viper.
The quest tied to saving the Viper is called but you cannot start this mission until you get through other events in Dock Town. You have to complete the quest before the Viper is even kidnapped in the first place. This quest involves dealing with several Venatori ritual sites scattered around Minrathous and defeating plenty of enemies.
Faction Merchants in Dragon Age: The Veilguard can sell Rook powerful items, but their selections start weak until Rook trades with them for upgrades.
You'll have to disrupt rituals at the Wharf Crossing North and Parthenius Main Docks locations in Dock Town during the quest. The enemies here are guarding barriers created by blood crystals, which are relevant artifacts used to entrap the Viper later. Many of the enemies you face at the ritual sites will appear once again as you're trying to save the Viper, so think about the best party combo in to face these foes.
