Skeleton Crew Video Highlights Jon Watts’ Vision for the Disney+ Show
Disney+ has released a new video for its newest coming-of-age adventure series, starring Oscar nominee Jude Law as a Force-user named Jod Na Nawood. It is currently scheduled to make its debut on December 3.
“The series follows the journey of four kids who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, then get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Finding their way home— and meeting unlikely allies and enemies— will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined,” reads the show’s synopsis

The video features the show’s creative team, including showrunner Jon Watts (Spider-Man: No Way Home) and Jon Favreau (The Mandalorian), as they discuss what to expect from Watts’ vision for the Goonies-inspired series. In addition, they also hyped up its stellar directorial lineup consisting of Watts, Daniel Kwan (Everything Everywhere All at Once), Daniel Scheinert (Everything Everywhere All at Once), Jake Schreier (Beef, Thunderbolts), David Lowery (The Greet Knight), Lee Isaac Chung (Minari, Twisters), and Bryce Dallas Howard (The Mandalorian).

Skeleton Crew is created and executive produced by Watts and Christopher Ford. The series will take place after the events of the Return of the Jedi. Besides Law, the ensemble cast will also include Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, Tunde Adebimpe, Kerry Condon and Nick Frost. Additional executive producers are Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson.
