While the grizzled monster hunter was mentioned in the new trailer from The Game Awards, it's clear that players will be put in the shoes of his adopted daughter, Ciri, for this outing. Still, with how beloved the character is, it is likely he will be present in the new game in at least some capacity.

It's an exciting development that means Geralt will definitely have lines in the fourth game, but it does not answer the question of how exactly Geralt will appear in .

At the very least, that means Geralt will be present in scenes speaking to Ciri, though that is still very open-ended.
