Diablo 4 has revealed that it will adjust Uber Lilith in the coming weeks, bringing several improvements, such as to the hitbox of her wave attacks. With these changes, Blizzard is constantly striving to offer a smoother and more satisfying gaming experience for Diablo 4 players.
At the beginning of the year, the Diablo 4 devs released an update adding three new items, Paingorger's Gauntlets, Juggernaut's Aspect, and the Aspect of Adaptability, making adjustments to existing items and all classes. The release of Diablo 4 Update 1.3.4, meanwhile, focused on fixing a variety of bugs and introducing quality-of-life improvements. Last month, Diablo 4 update 1.3.2 added a new way for players to obtain the coveted Uber Uniques through a crafting system. The Seneschal Companion, one of the additions of Diablo 4 Season 3, has also been improved with a reduction in the cost of crafting, the experience requirements to level up, and more ways to earn Governing and Tuning Stones.
Diablo 4 Lead Class Designer Adam Jackson revealed on his Twitter that Uber Lilith will receive a series of adjustments. As one of Diablo 4's biggest challenges, the devs are going to make Uber Lilith's attacks more visible. The hitbox of the wave attacks will now better match the visuals, and the waves/ghosts will no longer be one-shot mechanics. Instead, they will «deliver heavily ramping damage» as players take hits.
Uber Lilith adjustments will be available with the arrival of the Public Test Realm (PTR) on April 2. The changes finally address one of the most recurring complaints from Diablo 4 players, who find it very difficult to dodge the boss's attacks because of her irregular hitbox. With the upcoming tweaks, the idea is to make Uber Lilith more balanced in Season 4, offering players a fairer fight against the character.
