Sledgehammer Games has released the patch notes for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's Season 3 update, which makes changes to last year's Modern Warfare 2 weapons, rebalances this year's weapons, adjusts popular equipment items like the Stun and Flash, and more. The major Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 update launched on Wednesday, April 3.
Recently, Modern Warfare 3 revealed all the skins and other items coming in the Season 3 battle pass. The pass' instant unlocks consist of two new operators, Snoop Dogg 2 and Makarov. The Season's final two skins unlocked in the last tier include Fenrir, which gives Makarov a wolfman appearance, and Hush, another new operator who sports a tactical outfit. In between those two sets of unlocks, users can unlock a variety of new skins and weapon blueprints.

As for weapon balancing, a total of 24 guns are changed, including nerfs to the MCW, BAS-B, Rival-9, and Striker-9, and buffs to the Sidewinder, RAM-9, AMR9, and Bruen Mk9. Additionally, the Stun is nerfed by decreasing its aim slowness effects, and the Flash is nerfed by decreasing its close-range flash duration by half a second.
Season 3 introduces a bunch of quality-of-life improvements as well, such as finally making seasonal cinematic cutscenes skippable, filtering options for operators, new audio test settings for speakers, and unlock requirements forModern Warfare 3's weapon mastery emblems being displayed in the customization menu.
