Palworld has been on one a hell of a run since launching earlier this year, breaking records and generating plenty of conversation, and developer Pocket Pair has been busy teasing new content. The most recent of these teases came during today’s ID@Xbox indie showcase, which gave us a peek at what we can expect from the game’s big summer update. The teaser showed off four new Pokemon-esque Pals, as well as a flamethrower weapon. There’s sure to be a lot more included in the update, but this gave us a nice taste of what kind of things are being focused on. Check out the teaser for yourself, below.
In addition to the above trailer, Pocket Pair also recently teased the PvP Pal Arena will arrive sometime in 2024. Given its less-specific release window, Pal Arena will like be arriving after the summer update with the new Pals. A previous roadmap promised the following additions will hit Palworld at some point…
Palworld has sold over 25 million copies. Wccftech’s Ule Lopez put quite a few hours into the game, and found it to be a fun survival game despite its rather shameless swiping from Pokemon…
“Palworld is a neat survival game that only feels like it borrows the Pokemon aesthetic. The game is a fun venture, especially with multiple players as they share your adventure with you. […] While this game already offered an experience that at least provided me and my friends with over 30 hours of fun, there will be stuff that will make the game even more fun. It only makes me excited to see what the game will have to offer in the near future.”
Palworld can be played on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
