The Pokémon Go Shared Skies season is set to drop on June 1st and will run till September 1st. Much of this fun will revolve around the Pokémon Go Fest 2024, which is also set to begin soon. And just a week into the new season, you’ll have the Slumbering Sands event.
During the Shared Skies season of Pokémon Go, you’ll meet the Prism Pokémon Necrozma. It’s debuting during the event. You’ll get to mess around with some rare Pokémon fusion to score either Dusk Mane or Dawn Wings Necrozma.
The mythical Pokémon Marshadow is also joining the game. You’ll catch its first glimpse in Sendai, Madrid and New York before it pops up during the global mega-event. If you’ve got a ticket for the fest, get ready for some special research that wraps up with an encounter with Marshadow itself.
Running from June 7th to 12th is the Slumbering Sands event. This questline brings some lazy Pokémon with it. Slakoth, Vigoroth and Slaking will be strutting around in a cool visor, with their Shiny versions up for grabs too.
Also, keep an eye out for wild encounters with Psyduck, Slowpoke, Drowzee and Mareep during the event. Snap some photos to unlock encounters with these themed Pokémon. There’s also an event-themed Field Research task for a shot at a costumed Slakoth and Komala.
Why don’t you take a look at the trailer of the Shared Skies season from the official YouTube channel of Pokémon Go?
During the season, there’ll be a new Timed Research accessible from the Events tab every month. And for those who love a good PokéStop Showcase, they’re back every week from Saturday through Tuesday. Also, three Community Days are lined up between June 9th and August 31st.
