Don't Nod has shared a fresh look at its next narrative adventure, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage. Releasing for PS5 at the end of this year, it looks to capture the feel of the mid-1990s as four friends spend the summer break together in Velvet Cove. Check out the lo-fi trailer above for more context.
The game will be released in two parts, with a one-month break in between them. This is so fans can «start discussions, share theories, and eagerly anticipate the next part in the story», which seems to take place 27 years after the first section, in 2022. The game's official description mentions «an unexplained event that makes» the new friendship group agree to never see each other again. «Now, twenty-seven years later, fate reunites them to confront the long-buried secret that they left behind in 1995.»
Swann, the girl you see in the trailer, will tell the story through her eyes having met Nora, Autumn, and Kat in the summer of 1995. «The girls’ promise, made all those years ago, forever altered the course of their lives. The reason behind this promise is in your hands as you make choices both in the past and the present.»

Liam grew up with a PlayStation controller in his hands and a love for Metal Gear Solid. Nowadays, he can be found playing the latest and greatest PS5 games as well as supporting Derby County. That last detail is his downfall.
I liked all the LIS games to various extents and DON'T NOD seem to be doing pretty well at the moment. I never preorder anything but I'm optimistic for this.
I dunno if that's the sort of clothing people wore in the 90s but alright. The skater craze also didn't seem to get big until the late 90s either but I guess I could just be misremembering things.
