Colman Domingo: Could He Be the New Kang Actor For Marvel?

However, according to reputed but semi-reliable industry insider and scooper Daniel RPK, while the question regarding Kang’s recasting is in the early days, Colman Domingo was reportedly brought up by the higher-ups at Marvel to replace Jonathan Majors as Kang. Despite this, fans should take this rumor with a grain of salt and wait for official confirmation from Marvel and Disney on the matter.
Even though Domingo’s casting as Kang has not been officially confirmed, he is one of the most exciting names rumored to be considered for the role as he recently delivered a brilliant performance in the biopic Rustin, for which he won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor. He also won a Primetime Emmy Award for his widely praised guest appearance on Euphoria.
However, Domingo’s recent role as the voice of villain Unicron in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is perhaps the best evidence of the actor being a great choice for the role of Kang.
