Terapagos has remained one of the most mysterious creatures introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but a social media post from the Pokemon Company themselves provides some crucial lore details regarding the creature, seemingly confirming one popular theory among fans. The post explains that Terapagos had survived a series of cataclysmic geological events which occurred millions of years ago, and seems to suggest that Terapagos is just one member of a larger species that once inhabited the Paldea region long ago. This has been a popular theory among fans for a while now, and while this speculation was based on details hinted at in the games themselves, it wasn't until this tweet that these hints were treated as fact.
