PlayStation may be preparing to host a new State of Play presentation next week on January 31, with leaks suggesting that various new game announcements will be made. If the rumors hold true, PlayStation fans can expect new details about new PS5 titles launching in 2024 and beyond, such as Rise of the Ronin, Death Stranding 2, and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
The previous State of Play event was held this past September with a focus on smaller PS5 games, indie titles, and Marvel's Spider-Man 2, which was released the following month on October 26, 2023. Baker's tweet also teases that various unannounced games will be highlighted soon at the January 31 State of Play, including a new Sonic Generations remaster and a new Metro game. Despite the lack of an official announcement from PlayStation, gamers are excited and speculating about the trailers and game announcements that could soon arrive.
Some users speculate that the Death Stranding movie could be shown at State of Play alongside Death Stranding 2.
