A confused Skyrim player online has posted footage of a strange bug that appears to put them in slow-motion while using certain moves in combat. New Skyrim glitches are still being found all the time, but this new discovery is particularly hilarious.
As odd as it might sound, bizarre glitches are almost a core component of Bethesda titles at this point. Across the years, there have been countless clips from the Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and Starfield games, all showing off a variety of weird bugs that players have experienced. Redditor TheOldZoltarino shared the clip, which takes place while fighting through one of Skyrim's dungeons. The player is dual-wielding two weapons, but while using the right-hand attack, the character becomes extremely slow. The world around them continues at full speed, too, giving the enemy a huge advantage in the fight. While the clip shows the glitch in third-person first, they even repeat the bug in first-person to show that it isn't an issue with the perspective.
Gamers in the thread found the problem hilarious, with one user even claiming that their «right hand was directed by Zack Snyder,» referencing the director's penchant for slow-motion shots in his movies, for better or worse. One player did float a potential solution to the bug. It's possible that it is connected to the Dual Flurry perk, so removing and then re-adding this to the character should solve the problem for any gamer who happens to experience the same issue. One thing is for sure — while there are many helpful Skyrim glitches out there, this certainly isn't one of them.
While gamers continue to wait patiently for any news about The Elder Scrolls 6, it seems as though Bethesda isn't done with Skyrim just yet. On PC a few weeks
