Thanks to trailers and other pre-release content, Palworld players have spotted six Pals that have yet to be added to the open world survival game. Currently, there are technically 137 Pals in Palworld, though only 111 completely original creatures. The other 26 Pals are variants of existing Pals that, somewhat similar to regional variants in the Pokemon games, have a different typing than their base form.
In the wake of Palworld's incredible success, the developers confirmed that future updates will bring new Pals to the game. It's safe to say that most Palworld players are still working on filling out their Paldeck and catching all the Pals in the game, but those that have already caught them all might be anxious to learn about other creatures that could potentially make their way to the game in the future.
Developer Pocketpair has not officially revealed any new Pals that will be coming to Palworld, but trailers, pre-release materials, and datamining efforts may have let the cat out of the bag. The unreleased Pals include a bipedal red and black creature that somewhat has Zoroark vibes, an Electric-lion creature called Boltmane that looks very similar to Luxray from Pokemon, a «Dark Mutant» creature that looks like a recolored Mega Mewtwo Y, a gigantic flying whale whose skeleton could very well be the massive bones that players can find in the game, a flying creature that looks like Reshiram, and finally, an incredibly long Chinese dragon Pal.
It's possible that all of these Pals will come to Palworld in future updates, but it's also possible that these creatures will never be added to the game proper. The giant whale could prove to be especially problematic, as it's difficult to imagine how it would even fit in one's Palworld base. Boltmane and the Dark Mutant, meanwhile, may be left on the cutting room floor since they look so much like existing Pokemon and Nintendo has already said it will be looking into Palworld's similarities to the Pokemon franchise.
