A Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player has managed to combine various known tricks and glitches to create a cannon that Link can fire remotely. Just like Breath of the Wild before it, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom gives players a vast, open-world version of Hyrule to explore and perform various side activities to distract themselves from the game’s primary quest. An extra wrinkle in this is brought about through Tears of the Kingdom’s new crafting mechanics, which allow creative players to scrape together vehicles, weapons, and even shelters to help Link save the kingdom from Ganondorf and his dark forces.
Ever since The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom launched on the Nintendo Switch last May, players have been using these mechanics in a number of imaginative ways and sharing the results on social media for the rest of the gaming community to see. A Reddit user by the handle of Styles1991 recently discovered the secret behind creating a stationary turret that Link can fire manually with a wave of his legendary Master Sword. While the instructions they posted to r/tearsofthekingdom are rather cryptic, they utilized a series of well-known Tears of the Kingdom glitches to pull this off, such as the “message not found” Master Sword glitch that allows players to gain a stronger version of the ancient weapon with infinite durability.
