Atlus fans struggling with the wait until the release of Metaphor: ReFantazio can luxuriate in this latest look, which examines friends and foes alike in a character-centric trailer. The game's narrative follows an otherworldly election in a fantasy universe, and we get a glimpse at some of the other competing candidates.
Launching on 11th October on PS5 and PS4, Metaphor: ReFantazio shares some artistic and stylistic flair with other Atlus releases but looks like a pretty drastic break from anything that has come before, closer to the Shin Megami Tensei series than Persona with its otherworldly setting and moral navel-gazing. The winner of a divine election will be able to shape the world according to their own ideals, some benign, others obviously authoritarian, and it looks like players will be thrust into some pretty heady philosophical situations.

Another peak trailer. Genuinely can’t wait for this game.
I am really excited for the soundtrack and the game too of course
I'll pick it up when the actual game comes out in 18 months or so. Not falling for Atlus shenanigans again.
This one is going to be HUGE, mystified why there isn't more talk about it.
