AMD's recently released Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU is now available below its MSRP in China which makes it an even better deal for gamers.
The AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D is the true successor to the Ryzen 7 5800X3D 3D V-Cache CPU which has been a hot gaming chip ever since it launched in retail. This CPU is the ideal choice for gamers with 8 cores, 16 threads, and the same 104 MB of cache (32 MB CCD, 64 MB V-Cache + 8 MB L2). The CPU comes with a base clock of around 4 GHz which could end up at least 500 MHz slower than the Ryzen 7 7700X and a boost clock of 5.0 GHz which is 400 MHz slower than the Ryzen 7 7700X.
While the chip has an MSRP of $449 in The US, Chinese users got the chip at a price of 3299 RMB which converts to $478 US. This is a slightly higher price since it includes regional taxes but looks like PC gamers in China are in for a treat as the leading retail outlet, JD, has a special promo that cuts the price by 150 RMB or $22 US. This brings the pricing down to 3150 RMB or $457 US which is only $7 US higher than the MSRP for the States.
In all of the reviews and tests we have seen for the chip, the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D delivers an exceptional amount of performance in all resolutions and the best gaming power efficiency that we've seen to date. The 7800X3D can be paired with any high-end graphics card including NVIDIA RTX 4090 for an epic gaming machine. You can also get one of the brand new AMD A620 boards that start at $85 US which form a pair with insane value.
