BattleBit Remastered has been the surprise success of 2023. It came from obscurity and then blew a hole in Early Access. This is, in part, thanks to it being a genuinely excellent, easy-to-run, fully functioning large-scale Battlefield-esque FPS. With more content on the way, the game is looking to continue its already positive trend.
Despite all the rainbows and sunshine, however, there are some things that BattleBit Remastered has fumbled. These are far from being game-breakers when taken in isolation, but could be a pain to deal with when combined. Let’s talk about what we want fixed sooner rather than later.

This is one of the more contentious issues flying around as of writing. The community is split, with some saying there are no cheaters, and others lashing out at all the cheaters. Basically, the former are the cheaters the latter are complaining about and everyone is constantly butting heads as a result.
Of course, not all deaths come from cheating and there are a lot of unskilled newbies getting slaughtered by veteran players. That being said, it’s not hard to find nefarious aim-bot-worshipping cabals, and these guys ruin the game for everyone. Sadly, there isn’t much of a solution for this because…
BattleBit Remastered uses Anti-Cheat like most online games. It currently runs with Easy Anti-Cheat which is ‘fine’, but is clearly not working. What’s concerning is the switch to FACEIT, a far more robust Anti-Cheat software that should help curb the conmen who infest the game right now.
