Easily one of the biggest video game launches for this year is Starfield. This game is also the biggest first-party exclusive for Microsoft and the first new RPG from Bethesda in years. So naturally, there is quite a bit of hype built up around the upcoming launch. However, this also means fans quickly look at every little detail about the game showcased so far. In fact, thanks to a report from Gamerant, we’re finding out that one UI element has been annoying players with the hope that a fix is already established or will be added before the game launches.
Fans are taking to Reddit and pointing out one UI element that has proven to be annoying to the community. It looks like the troublesome element that so many fans are taking issue with right now is the EX bar. This little logo pops up, showing how much XP you’ve gained. However, the problem is that the XP pop-up is right in the center of the screen. It’s not a big element that takes up the entire screen, but it’s enough to warrant some fans to become vocal about this feature. Some have pointed out that there were some clips where XP was likely gained, but it didn’t pop up on the screen.
As a result, a toggle might already be featured within the game that allows players to toggle off the pop-up. Meanwhile, others have stated that they would like to see the XP gained but featured somewhere in the corner of the screen, which makes it less obtrusive when playing through the game. So that could be another feature that might have already been implemented. If not, perhaps Bethesda would take notice of this feature request and get it established before the game launches into the marketplace.
