Upcoming Xbox console exclusive game State of Decay 3 could be getting its first major update in four years. State of Decay 3 was first announced in 2020, and was in fact one of the first-ever games revealed for the Xbox Series X/S family of consoles. The CG trailer helped set the tone for what State of Decay 3 may be aiming for thematically, but otherwise didn't reveal anything all that substantial about the game.

The first two State of Decay games are all about managing a community of survivors during the zombie apocalypse. The games earned mixed reviews, but still have a dedicated fanbase. Considering how long it's been since fans have gotten a proper update on State of Decay 3, the game is due for an update. There are a ton of unanswered questions about State of Decay 3 since all fans have seen of it so far is a CG trailer, so it will be great to get a proper update on the game.
