World of Warcraft: Dragonflight gave lapsed fans plenty of reasons to return to the Activision Blizzard MMO, and similar to several expansions before it, the content helped boost the player numbers. Among the things introduced with the expansion was the new region of Dragon Isles to explore, a revamp to the crafting systems that have barely been addressed since the game was first released, and dragonriding which gave players an improved method of traversal. Pointing to the introduction of flying in The Burning Crusade, many World of Warcraft fans at the time suggested that dragonriding would suffer from the honeymoon period, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
