A World of Warcraft fan recently shared their incredible custom mosaics they made entirely out of LEGOs. These mosaics recreate iconic art of World of Warcraft characters in a new and unique way.
Poulson Designs specializes in creating LEGO mosaics of video game characters. Each mosaic is made of thousands of LEGO bricks of different colors, placed together to create a larger picture. They frequently post their recent mosaic work on Reddit and Instagram for their fellow gamers to admire.

Some of Poulson's most recent projects were LEGO mosaics of several characters from World of Warcraft. In one Reddit post, they shared mosaic portraits of Thrall, Garrosh, Vol’Jin, and Sylvanas–the four Warchiefs of the Horde in different periods of World of Warcraft. Each of these is several feet in length, and perfectly replicates the appearances of the World of Warcraft characters as they appear in official art.
Poulson also created a duo of incredible Wrath of the Lich King-themed mosaics. One displays the infamous Lich King, while the other shows his deadly runeblade Frostmourne in all its icy glory. The attention to detail in these pieces of art is impressive–many players wouldn’t be able to tell it was made with LEGOs at all without taking a close look.
World of Warcraft is not the only media Poulson creates LEGO mosaics for. They have also done mosaics from Starcraft, Star Wars, Marvel, and even Avatar. Fans can view most of their projects on their MyShopify, where Poulson also sells instructions and estimated brick costs for those who want to replicate the mosaics for their own collections.
