We've datamined a handful of intriguing appearances which suggest a new transmog set themed after the the Guardian Medivh, master of Karazhan!
Feathered Drape of the Guardian — inv_cape_karazhan_c_01.jpg Feathered Cowl of the Guardian — inv_helm_armor_karazhan_c_01.jpg Standard of the Guardian — inv_staff_2h_karazhan_c_01.jpgNo appearances have been found to go along with the items just yet, although while Medivh is rarely seen in World of Warcraft, he's been featured quite prominently in outside media and other Blizzard games. Frequently depicted with a hood and a cloak lined with dark feathers, ravens are a large part of his iconography, even including the ability to turn into a raven for fast travel, though there is some ambiguity over whether that's one of Medivh's abilities or granted from his staff. His appearances vary across different media, but the Guardian is frequently described as hooded and mysterious, with a raven feathered cloak. His staff is particularly well known to players though, as Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian is a now unobtainable legendary which caster classes could reconstruct by painstakingly collecting pieces of the splintered staff from bosses within the originally Naxxramas. Canonically, the staff is now in the hands of Medivh's former apprentice, Khadgar, who has also inherited the ability to turn into a Raven at will. Unfortunately, this is just a cosmetic collection though, so it's unlikely players will be able to do the same! Although the headpiece looked a little different back in Vanilla WoW, spectral ravens also periodically circle the staff's wielder.
