World of Warcraft players recently discovered some items that suggest an outfit themed after Medivh may be made available for players. Players may soon be able to dress up as the legendary Guardian once World of Warcraft adds these new items to the Trading Post.
Medivh is one of the most important and powerful characters in World of Warcraft’s lore. The legendary Guardian of Tirisfal was responsible for leading the Horde to Azeroth in the original Warcraft: Orcs and Humans, and appeared again in Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft, and Hearthstone. Though his appearance differs slightly between media, his mantle and staff are iconic to many Warcraft fans.
Iconic World of Warcraft Villain Might Be Returning in Dragonflight
Now, it seems World of Warcraft is adding some new items to the Trading Post that will allow players to dress up as the legendary figure. Three items–the Feathered Drape of the Guardian, Feathered Cowl of the Guardian, and Standard of the Guardian–were recently datamined from a build of theWorld of Warcraft Public Test Realm. Though no models are currently associated with these items, the names alone suggest they will look like the cape, hood, and staff of Medivh. The items have a total cost of 975 Trader’s Tender, meaning players would have to spend most of a single month’s budget of the Trading Post currency to collect the whole set.
Previously, players could collect Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian–the iconic raven-topped weapon once used by Medivh and now used by Khadgar in World of Warcraft.
