Now, Star Trek: Discovery season 5 has been confirmed by execs to be the last adventure for the crew of the USS Discovery, in a similar vein to Picard season 3, which promises to be the final curtain call for the crew of Star Trek: The Next Generation. “I can hardly believe that this mind-blowing journey with ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ is ending,” Sonequa Martin-Green, who starred and produced the show, said. “I’m astoundingly blessed by God to have played Captain Michael Burnham and to have taken part in a legacy alongside an extraordinary cast, phenomenal crew, and remarkable writing team.”
