Now, it is being coined that the Apple Watch Series 9 will come with a new magnetic band design. It makes sense for the company to introduce a new band design since the wearable itself looks identical to the Series 8.
As mentioned earlier, the Apple Watch Series 9 will not feature any design changes but it will still be worth the upgrade considering the enhancements Apple will implement on the inside. With a stagnant design flow, the company is now planning to introduce a new magnetic band design which will offer a new look. According to a leaker named Kosutami on Twitter, the new band design will be a blend of woven fabric and a magnetic buckle.
The new band design for the Apple Watch will potentially work similarly to the Modern buckle. The Modern buckle is only available for the 38, 40, and 41mm Apple Watch sizes and is available for $149. Since the Modern Buckle is not available for the Apple Watch Ultra, we suspect that the new magnetic band design will be exclusive to the Series 9 only.
The company could introduce a bigger version of the band and streamline the accessories with the models.
