The lineup for Gamescom Opening Night Live is taking shape quite nicely now. Geoff Keighley's showcase, which kickstarts Gamescom proper, is teasing appearances from many highly anticipated titles, and the latest announcement brings SEGA into the fold.
We'll get to see some more of Sonic Superstars during the show:
As per Keighley's social post, it's hinted that we might see more about the co-op aspect of this game. Sonic Superstars is an intriguing title — it's based on the classic platforming gameplay fans know and love, but it folds in an all-new style and, more importantly, up to four-player co-op. We're still not super clear on how that will pan out in a series that's famously fast-paced, but hopefully we learn more very soon.
Other games confirmed to appear during the presentation include Alan Wake 2, Crimson Desert, and Black Myth: Wukong. Are you excited to watch the showcase? Spin dash into the comments section below.
