This year’s Gamescom Opening Night Live will be more focused on offering new looks and updates at major upcoming titles rather than announcing new games, according to producer and host Geoff Keighley, and an update for another game has now been confirmed for the show.
Taking to Twitter, Keighley recently confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will receive a new trailer at Gamescom Opening Night Live at August 22. In addition to Ubisoft’s open world action-adventure title, other games that have been confirmed for the show so far are Remedy Entertainment’s survival horror sequel Alan Wake 2 and Game Science’s Soulslike action RPG Black Myth: Wukong.
Ubisoft recently announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage has gone gold, and is now set to launch a week earlier than previously planned. The game is now out on October 5 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
