As promised during their latest quarterly earnings call, South Korean studio Pearl Abyss delivered a new gameplay trailer for Crimson Desert during Geoff Keighley's Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023 show.
Unfortunately, the trailer did not provide any update on the release date of Crimson Desert, even though we know Pearl Abyss aims to conclude development before the year's end. The game will be released on PC and consoles; for more info, check out the official website.
Crimson Desert is an upcoming open world action-adventure which will make a global release on both console and PC. An epic of survival with a focus on immersive storytelling and intense action, Crimson Desert follows a group of struggling mercenaries and the many characters who cross their paths in the vast continent of Pywel of divided regions inhabited by people struggling to survive in its ever-changing lands. This is a world where heroes are made, but not without incredible hardship, pain and perseverance.

Each location has its own unique character that is both fantastical and grounded in gritty realism.
