Yes, you read that right - disappearing willies. Baldur's Gate 3 players are warning others that their characters might not have the private parts they intended, as a quirk in the character creator screen is resetting everyone's genitalia without their knowledge.
Alas, if you swap subraces at any point during character creation, all of your time spent going through the various penis options (up to five, in some cases) is all for nought. Without telling you, the game has just put you back to the "default" downstairs parts, which might be a vulva, not a dick, as some are now learning the hard way.

This comes to us courtesy of Reddit user Urkelli. Mid-game, they were shocked to discover that their dwarf's penis was missing in action. They say this is due to an oversight in the character creator, which is supposed to save your customisation options when you swap subrace, in case you change your mind and want to go back to the previous one you were working on. However, it won't save your penis option, reverting to the default.
For science, I tested this myself and also found it to be the case. After messing around with some customisation options for a high elf, I then swapped to a wood elf, then back again. Sure enough, everything else I had done to the high elf was fine, keeping the same hairstyle, face preset, etc - just missing the penis I selected. Penis D, if you must know.
It's not really clear why this is the case, but given how every other customisation option stays behind, it's likely that the genital mishap is an oversight. To avoid it, all you have to do is double-check that your dong is still intact by the time you're ready to start your game,
