The iPhone 15 launch is right around the corner and we are expecting some major changes on all four models. The standard iPhone 15 models will rock a Dynamic Island on display with upgraded cameras and internals. The 'Pro' models are expected to ship with even more significant changes, such as a grade 5 titanium build, a 3nm A17 Bionic chip, and slimmer bezels. However, all four models are rumored to come with the new USB-C port supporting Thunderbolt capabilities. A new leak now shows the braided USB-C cables that supposedly belong to the iPHone 15 lineup.
It was recently coined that the USB-C port on the iPhone 15 models will come with Thunderbolt capabilities, allowing higher and faster data transfer speeds. Last week, we saw the USB-C components, potentially designed for the iPhone 15 lineup. Now, leaker Majin Bu has shared images of the braided USB-C cable which could launch with the iPhone 15 lineup. As you can see in the leaked images below, the USB-C cables for the iPhone 15 models are braided and available in different colors. This is not the first time Apple will be moving to braided charging cables. If you have one of the new MacBook models, you might already be familiar with Apple's approach. With the MacBook Air models, Apple includes a color-matched braided cable and the same concept could be available on the iPhone next month.
While all four iPhone 15 models will be switching to the USB-C port, we suspect that the braided olor-matched cables will be an exclusive addition for the iPHone 15 Pro models.
