There are a plethora of forward-facing changes coming with the new iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. While the devices will feature upgraded internals for enhanced performance and battery life, the exterior is expected to be quite different than the current models as well. It was previously rumored that the iPhone 15 Pro models will come in a titanium finish which will be stronger but lighter compared to the stainless steel finish. Up until now, there were two color options rumored for the 'Pro' models - Blue and Crimson Red. Now, the company is potentially testing a blue and gray color option for the iPhone 15 Pro models.
It was previously coined by 9to5mac that Apple is working to introduce a new Red color option. However, leaker Unknownz21 suggests that Apple never tested the color. Instead, the company plans to launch the titanium iPhone 15 Pro in blue and gray color options. This is not the first time that we are heading details on a blue color for the flagship iPhone models. Leaker Unknownz21 coined that a dark blue color option was in the works which could resemble the Pacific Blue color.
9to5mac now notes that Apple will ditch the Gold color for the iPhone 15 Pro this year and replace it with a Gray titanium finish. Gold is one of the most popular color options in some regions such as China. Since the company is replacing stainless steel with a titanium finish, the Gold color option would have offered a pretty great look. However, the company is only planning to introduce a blue and gray color option alongside the space black and silver. According to the source, the new gray color will "embrace the natural color of titanium".
