NVIDIA's DLSS 3.5 mod is now available for Starfield on PC and offers a big improvement over the native image quality.
Just two days after the NVIDIA DLSS 2 and Intel XeSS plugins were released as mods by PureDark, we now have support for DLSS 3.5 within the game which is great for NVIDIA GPU owners. NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 technology is currently supported within the game and offers a nice visual boost thanks to the latest AI model that enhances the image over the native resolution, providing sharper & clearer visuals.
We already saw NVIDIA's DLSS 2 provide some spectacular image quality within Starfield on PC & now, we get another alternative over the AMD's FSR 2 which is the only upscaling option besides CAS that's officially a part of the game. So the process of enabling DLSS 3.5 within Starfield involves a few simple steps which have been listed by MxBenchmarkPC:

Now it should be mentioned that DLSS 3.5 has various features and the new AI upscaling model is just one of them. The technology also supports frame generation and ray reconstruction but the latter has to be enabled on the engine side to be fully utilized. So coming to the image quality, we compiled a few screenshots for you that show the difference between Native, FSR 2 (100%), DLSS 3.5 (Performance), and DLSS 3.5 (Quality) modes. We have to acknowledge that AMD's FSR 2 also does a brilliant job in enhancing the image quality over native but DLSS 3.5 just stands out a bit ahead.
