Diablo III’s final all-new season before the team switches to a mix of repeat content and some minor additions is now on the PTR. The team has made some tweaks due to feedback.
Visions of Enmity is setting up Diablo 3 to go big, while still serving the community with seasonal content and a mix of rewards. Since the PTR opened up last week, the team has had the opportunity to get a lot of feedback from the community. One of the fixes involved a crash that was happening when some players were opening their achievements. that has been addressed in the current patch.
The update also makes a couple of changes to class balance and fixes a number of other bugs. There are two important class balance changes in this update. The first change is about Cluckeye. This will no longer spawn with the Max Discipline secondary attribute when it drops. In fact, Cluckeye will now only drop for Witch Doctors. With these changes, it has been updated in Djank Mi’em’s bag.
The second balance change involves the Orek’s Dream Greater Rift. The patch removes both the Toxic Lurker and Dark Berserker monster sets. They’ve been replaced by Summoner Charger and Lacuni Slasher monster sets.
The patch, in addition to fixing that crash, also squashes a few other bugs. Diabolical Fissures get some important adjustments. When they spawn, there will now be a notification on the screen and in the chat to alert of their presence. They will also no longer spawn in Greed’s Realm.
Overall, this PTR is set to run until August 29th. If you’re in the Diablo 3 community and want to give the devs some feedback on the seasonal theme and to help them usher out the last big full original season for the game, head over to Diablo 3 for more.
