Autumn has finally arrived in the UK, with blustery winds and heavy downpours washing away a lot of the recent warm weather, doing so just in time for the autumnal equinox this weekend. It’s really been a “stay inside and play games” kind of week, in other words, and we’ve been doing just that!
This was a bumper week for me being able to reveal what I’ve played recently, with hands on time for newly announced 4X strategy game Millennia, for PSVR 2 ghost ’em up Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord, and a little bit of time with Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s TGS 2023 demos. This was far from his first Payday 3 experience, and he was happily leading the way and getting stuck in with the game’s returning stealthy-shootery shenanigans. Outside of that, there was “lots of Fate: Samurai Remnant for review, some Disgaea 7 for review, a splash of Fortnite, and my Playdate handheld console arrived. I’ve been hoarding games for it and I’m super excited to start playing them!”
Moving on to the law abiding
