Once a player gets their first duck in , they'll inevitably start amassing a collection of Duck Featherswith no apparent use. Duck Feathers are generally produced daily by fully mature ducks. They drop randomly around the coop, not unlike eggs or Rabbit Feet. They'll be picked up automatically by an Auto-Grabber, or can be manually collected by the player when they make their daily visit to the coop.
Having a couple of Duck Feathers is all well and good, but once players have multiple ducks, they'll likely be getting several per week. This can lead to a massive pile of Duck Feathers collecting dust in a chest somewhere, as there are no apparent uses or crafting recipes that players can make with them. They may not have as many uses as, say, minerals in , but they can come in handy in a few unexpected ways.
Ultimately, the main use of Duck Feathers in is to sell them. They can't be used in any crafting recipes, can't be turned into more valuable animal products, and can't be gifted to most villagers (except for a very select few). They do, however, fetch a pretty solid sale price, as indicated by the table below.

With animals in particular, the likelihood of spawning higher-quality eggs depends mainly on their friendship ranking with the player. The farmer should make sure they're petting and feeding their ducks daily, and letting them out to swim if they have a nearby pond or other body of water.
There are also a couple of fringe uses for Duck Feathers, but whether they'll be of any use varies from player to player. For one thing, Duck Feathers are a loved gift by exactly two villagers: Elliott and Leo. Harvey also likes them, while everyone else in town is
