Announced last year, Activision Blizzard’s upcoming mobile entry, Warcraft Rumble will be hitting iOS and Android devices in exactly one month on November 3. The collectible action-strategy title was originally announced as Warcraft: Arclight Rumble but somewhere lost the Arclight along the way. Those interested in checking it out can pre-register with Battle.net, on the App Store, or via Google Play. Warcraft Rumble will be free-to-play, though I’m sure there will be a cash shop.
According to the Warcraft Rumble website, players can expect to collect over 65 Warcraft-universe minis as they play through multiple game modes including a single-player campaign, head-to-head PvP battles, and more. Each mini will have its own unique playstyle and strategy to take on Warcraft Rumble’s campaign and dungeons, leveling your army along the way.
A few of the iconic Warcraft characters listed on the website include the Human Mage Jaina Proudmoore, Horde Leader Grommash Hellscream, and even Elwynn Forest miniboss Hogger. There are actually some pretty cool characters, like Rend Blackhand and Baron Rivendare. As players complete challenges they will unlock more Leaders and Spells, and eventually talents.
When Warcraft Rumble originally got announced, I wasn’t too interested. But seeing all of the different characters and game modes it will be launching with, I’m willing to give it a shot. Just please don’t have the same level of predator monetization that Diablo Immortal has. I know they aren’t similar in any way, but there’s a reason Blizzard is making this a mobile game, right?
