Bandai Namco have released eighteen minutes of co-op gameplay taken from the forthcoming Little Nightmares III.
The footage, taken from a pre-alpha build, finds the two new protagonists, Low and Alone, creeping their way through the Necropolis and avoiding the gaze of a giant baby doll which seems very intent on murdering them. There is a lot of running around and climbing the video as well as a smattering of puzzles. We also get to some some combat, a new feature for the franchise, and the use of a rather threadbare umbrella that stops the duo from plummeting to their deaths.
Supermassive Games have taken over development duties from Tarsier Studios for this third instalment. Trapped within the Spiral, a cluster of “disturbing places”, Low and Alone will have to work together to survive in a dangerous world full of delusions and nasty things lurking around in the shadows. Whilst the game continues the themes of “eww”, “yuk”, and “bork” found in the first to games it is set in a completely different location, Nightmares 1 and 2 were set in The Maw.
The game will be playable from end to end in online co-op mode, or if you prefer you can play solo and have an AI companion help you out.

Another little, slime covered gem from Tarsier Studios.”
