One of the things that made the Insomniac Games titles with Peter Parker and Miles Morales so special was that they decided to not only embrace “their version” of the mythos and tell familiar yet new stories, but they embraced the past of the franchise in a way that everyone could love. For example, they had multiple villains from the comics show up to take on the Spider-Men and focused on the relationships between them for one reason or another. But the thing that many fans have been happy about is the number of spider suits that they can wear that references the other elements of the franchise, which Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will continue.
The first two games alone had plenty of suits for fans to geek out over. But now, thanks to ComicBook.com, we can add another classic suit to the list. This time, it’s the Spider-Man suit that Tom Holland wore at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home. That suit is significant for multiple reasons. First, it was made at the end of the movie, after Holland’s version of Peter Parker made the ultimate sacrifice by making it so that no one knew who he was, thus stopping the Multiverse from crashing in on itself.
He made the new suit to symbolize the beginning of his newest journey, and even though fans only got to see it in action through one web-slinging sequence, it looked straight out of the comics, which got them rather giddy. So whether you liked the suit’s look, or you are a big fan of Tom Holland, you’ll have plenty to look forward to here.
