The Midnight Walk is out in May with PSVR 2 support
The release date for the spooky hand animated game The Midnight Walk has been announced as May 8th 2025. This is a stunningly twisted looking game coming from the makers of Lost in Random.
A dark fantasy adventure, the game will cast you as The Burnt One, who befriends a little lantern called Pot Boy and has to go with them together through a world that has a terror-laden claymation aesthetic.
“Become The Burnt One, befriend a lost lantern creature named Potboy, and use his flame to light your way through a conflicting world of wonder and horror, made entirely from real-life clay. Use stealth, cunning and a few tricks up your sleeve to survive and outsmart the many monsters eager to devour your little friend’s flame and experience five tales of fire and darkness, featuring an incredible cast of odd characters.”
This is the first game from MoonHood, the studio founded by creators of Lost in Random, Ghost Giant and more. On their site they say, “MoonHood’s goal is to immerse players in strange worlds handcrafted in actual clay, cardboard and what have you…”
