Assassin's Creed Shadows 20th March release on PS5 is creeping ever closer, and to hold us over in the meantime, Ubisoft has released a new-gen features trailer that is, admittedly, primarily focused on PC. Still, all platforms will benefit from the features of its formidable Anvil Engine, which allows for impressive environmental destruction and dynamic weather effects that change with the passing seasons.
Shadows will tell the tale of two protagonists, the shinobi Naoe and the samurai Yasuke. Players won't be punished for playing favourites and can switch between the two as often or as little as they like. To achieve full immersion and to properly enter the world of Shadows, a prequel manga is in the works; it is unknown when it will make its way West.

I have not followed or know anything about the controversies surrounding this game. All i can say is the game looks great! And it might be the first AC game i pick up since the first few games on the 360. Still gonna wait for the reviews though
If the stealth is good, I'm in. I can't imagine it being better than GoT.
Finally, we get some new gen destructible environments which look less impressive than in the 18 year old Crysis.
That aside, this is actually looking pretty good and even as someone who has long since grown tired of Ubisoft open worlds, this is making me seriously considering playing it
