If you are looking for a fun puzzle, the NYT’s game is the way to go. It has some similarities to the puzzle, but I often find it a little easier in that it feels more difficult to make vague and often subconscious connections between words rather than use the known spelling rules to make a word. English is notoriously bad at spelling words, so that is not always true, but generally speaking, it is a little easier and a little faster.

This category was not the first one I solved, and I did have a different guess before I got to the correct one. BABY, BAE, and BOO all made me think they could be in a category together as nicknames for a partner, but it was not to be.
