If you are looking to take receipts on today’s puzzle, you might need a few hints to get you to the end of it without losing your streak. There are some tough categories near the end of this puzzle, and you will want to keep your eye on the details in order to not get tripped up. There are many reasons why this puzzle might feel more challenging, and players should be ready to do some digging around in their brain to get the right connections to the right words.
If you are looking for a fun puzzle that has some of the same challenges but with a different format, the NYT’s puzzle has a great payoff. The cultural references and the challenge to connect the dots remain, but the difference is that you are searching for the words themselves as opposed to trying to group them together. You can find other words in the puzzle to get hints as to what the theme is and where the words are that you actually need to find.
This one was a little tough for me, but it was understandable when I saw the final two categories. There were some references that I was aware of, but that don't tend to be at the forefront of my mind andwould not necessarily come up just by looking at disconnected words.
