The Canadian Game Awards will be held on February 15, 2025, at 8 PM EST. Hosted by actor Naomi Kyle, the ceremony is located at the TIFF Lightbox in Toronto. The Awards are focused on the best of the Canadian video game industry, with categories for games, studios, and content creators throughout Canada. Categories at the Canadian Game Awards include Best Game Design, Best Performance, Best Content Creator, and, of course, the coveted Game of the Year. This year's GOTY nominees include an excellent selection from across the industry, ranging from indie hits to massive triple-A epics.
Game of the Year nominations kick off with , a dark metroidvania set in the ruins of a once-sprawling city. There's also the evocative watercolor-styled game, in which players paint the city of Montréal, exploring its streets and meeting its people.
