Super Smash Bros Ultimate is getting its 99th Spirit Board event, which appears to be its last.
The event will feature new spirits from Princess Peach Showtime and Super Mario Bros Wonder, which hadn’t previously appeared in the game before.

Now the fourth of these, titled Showtime and Wonder Spirits, will start on March 22 and run until March 27 and will add spirits from Princess Peach Showtime and Super Mario Bros Wonder, including Peach with Stella, Elephant Mario, Swordfighter Peach, a Wonder Flower and a Talking Flower.
Given that Nintendo said only four Spirit Board events were planned for 2024, and that it has reconfirmed on X that this new event is the last of these four, it appears that this 99th event is the game’s final, unless more surprise events are
