and announced its next Season for will be its last. Season 4 Episode 7: Control starts tomorrow, on December 10, 2024, and marks the beginning of the end of post-launch content for the action game.
The final Season of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League introduces the fan-favorite DC mercenary Deathstroke. Available on December 10, players can run around Metropolis as the world’s greatest assassin. To play as the Slade, players will have to complete the Mayhem Mission at Episode Rank 30 and take down Braniac.
Deathstroke is effective from both close and long range thanks to his swordsmanship and sharpshooting. This is reflected in his in-game Talents called Assassin, Mercenary, and Strategist. Assassin favors his mastery in melee combat. Mercenary gives buffs his firearms, grenades, and traversal attacks. Strategist focuses on weakening foes by using different tools and gadgets to get an upper hand.
“After his last showdown and defeat against Batman, Slade Wilson, the world’s greatest assassin, was lost. He was then stuck in Arkham Asylum surrounded by common criminals, with all the time in the world and nothing to do but confront his failure,” reads a description of Rocksteady’s Deathstroke. “Faced with a long list of demons to overcome, Wilson quietly disappeared to train and meditate. After months of work, Deathstroke realized he had nothing to prove – that is, until Brainiac invaded Earth. So, when Amanda Waller approached him with a blank check to cut the invasion off at its head, Deathstroke didn’t need to be asked twice.”
For this Season, the Suicide Squad will travel to a medieval themed Elseworld to fight Brainiac. It is inspired by DC’s Dark Knights of Steel comic written by Tom Taylor, and illustrated by Yasmine Putri.
The beginning of Season 4 also introduces an Offline mode to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. This allows players to experience the main story campaign, and all the seasonal story mission content without an internet connection.
