A Red Dead Redemption 2 player has shared a bizarre glitch in which a burnt body acts as a witness to a crime. Red Dead Redemption 2 features plenty of strange bugs, but this is certainly among the most disturbing of the bunch.
In a game of Red Dead Redemption 2’s scale, it’s only natural that some strange bugs will pop up every now and then. Rockstar has done a great job over the years of ensuring that any truly game-breaking issues are resolved, which leaves some smaller glitches in the game. One recently discovered Red Dead Redemption 2 glitch turned horse care into a criminal offense, which, while certainly frustrating in the moment, would definitely be pretty easy to see the funny side of later on. With many players still playing the game, it's likely that even more of these types of funny glitches will be found in Red Dead Redemption 2.
The still image was shared with the game's community on Reddit, displaying a completely burnt corpse running away from a crime scene. According to the user, the charred body was witness to a crime the player had committed and came alive in order to report it. The strange glitch happened during the Elias Green Bounty mission in Red Dead Redemption 2, but it's unclear what actually caused this particular issue to occur.
Other players in the thread were equally surprised by the bug, which inevitably drew comparisons to a potential Undead Nightmare DLC for Red Dead Redemption 2. One player even referred to the corpse as the «Undead Tattletale,» claiming it «isn't the DLC we were asking for.» Another interesting comment pointed out that in the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas era, this bug is the sort of thing that could quickly become an urban legend in the vein of Bigfoot.
Although it's fun to see new bugs emerging from the 2018 title, there's no doubt a huge appetite among the community for a sequel to Red Dead Redemption 2. With Grand Theft Auto 6 on the way, there's a general acceptance that it will have to wait a few years yet.
