AEW Fight Forever has finally added former Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter to its playable roster after almost a year. Despite the game receiving a mixed reception at launch, the companies behind AEW Fight Forever remain committed to adding new content to the game through DLC Season waves. This includes new game modes like the online multiplayer Stadium Stampede and tournament-style “Beat the Elite.”
Like any good wrestling game, AEW Fight Forever’s roster of playable wrestlers is one of its primary attractions, and the game’s post-launch DLC has been adding several competitors who were left off the base release for one reason or another. This included Anthony Bowens and Max Caster of the popular tag team The Acclaimed, currently reigning AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm, and Mogul Embassy leader Swerve Strickland.
AEW Fight Forever’s ongoing Season 3 is now adding another popular star of the promotion’s women’s division in Jamie Hayter, the former Women’s World Champion who was sorely missed among players when AEW Fight Forever first launched last June. Her signature entrance and move set are featured prominently in the recent AEW Fight Forever «Hayter's Gonna Game» trailer, which shows her unleashing devastating finishing moves against various opponents across several playable venues. In addition to Hayter herself, players can also unlock 5 new music tracks to be used as entrance themes as part of this latest batch of DLC.
Jamie Hayter’s absence in the base AEW Fight Forever roster left many wrestling fans scratching their heads, as she held the coveted AEW Women’s World Championship around the time of the game’s release. Shortly before AEW Fight Forever’s launch, she suffered a serious injury that forced her off TV for nearly a year — making the fact that she wasn’t available in the game even more painful for her fans.
