ASUS Rolls Out AMD AGESA 1.1.8.0 BIOS Firmware For X670E Motherboards

ASUS has started rolling out the latest AMD AGESA 1.1.8.0 BIOS firmware for its high-end X670E series of motherboards.

ASUS AGESA 1.1.8.0 BIOS Firmware Brings Improved AMD Ryzen 9000 "Zen 5" Desktop CPU Support To X670E Motherboards

ASUS had previously rolled out the AMD AGESA 1.1.7.0 BETA BIOS for its AM5 motherboards which included all X670E, X670, B650E, B650, and A620 products. Now, ASUS has started rolling out latest AGESA 1.1.8.0 firmware for its higher-end X670E motherboards in the ROG Crosshair, ROG Strix & ProArt series.

Now it's uncertain if anything has changed significantly in the new BIOS update but it looks like we can expect improved support for the next-generation AMD Ryzen 9000 "Zen 5" Desktop CPUs that have already been confirmed by the motherboard maker.
