Season of Discovery's First PTR Coming Soon
WoW Classic Senior Game Producer Josh Greenfield, better known as Aggrend, has given us the first clues as to when Phase 4 of Season of Discovery will be available. The PTR for Phase 4 is «coming soon», as well as more news regarding the new Phase.
Phase 4 is the first Phase of Season of Discovery to have a public test. This means that we can likely expect the content to be more polished on release, potentially reducing the need for almost daily hotfixes, as well as weekly tuning. On the other hand, this also has the potential to reveal a lot of new content before release, losing a bit of the «discovery» in Season of Discovery.
Figured I'd repost for a bit more reach. Yes, PTR is coming soon and the Phase 4 news is going to start ramping up next week. Really appreciate the patience.
So far, this is still following the 2024 Roadmap Blizzard released earlier this year, but this is also by far the longest wait between Phases so far. With this being on the PTR first, we can expect at least a few weeks before the Phase is fully released. Hopefully, the Season of Discovery team has something big up their sleeves to draw the playerbase back in.
